Cruz recently exposed Johnny Depp as a practical joker!
During a recent interview, the Spanish actress revealed that Johnny owns a machine that made her believe she’d broken wind when filming Blow in 2001.
“I was doing a very dramatic close-up. [Using a remote control] he kept making that sound with the machine,” Penelope said.
“I was just thinking I hope they are not thinking it’s me! And Johnny was standing there with a straight face.”
The actors were reunited recently while working on Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides and Penelope — now wise to the joke — watched Johnny fool the film’s producer and director.
