The Syllabus is as formulated by the D.T.E.R.T., and approved by the Government and currently followed in Teacher Training Institutes for the regular students. However, whenever the syllabus is modified or revised, for the residual private candidates, who had failed in D.T.E. examination under the Old syllabus, two or three sessions of examinations under the old syllabus as approved by the Government will be permitted. For current syllabus, subjects and marks distribution as specified in Chapter IX.
