"Ford Mustang" is a trending search topic on the Web Friday following the news that Ford Motor(F) is planning to unveil an 800-horsepower version of the Mustang at the New York Auto Show.
The 2012 Shelby GT500 Super Snake will be built byShelby American, a Las Vegas-based performance car company owned by Carroll Shelby International(CSBI), and is expected to be one of the most powerful American muscle cars at the show.
Shelby American announced there will be a limited production of Super Snakes available to customers beginning May 1.
"Armenia Internet" is a hot net search following reports that a 75-year-old woman accidentally shut down the country's Internet connection while allegedly scavenging for copper in Georgia.
Aishtan Shakarian, a Georgian woman, inadvertently damaged an international fiber-optic cable while digging for scrap metal on March 28, a police spokesman said.
"She found the cable while collecting scrap metal and cut it with a view to stealing it," Georgian interior ministry spokesman Zura Gvenetadze explained. "Taking into account her advancing years, she has been released pending the end of the investigation and subsequent trial."
Damage to the 380-mile cable, owned by Georgian Railway Telecom, sent almost all of Armenia offline for about 12 hours.
"I cannot understand how this lady managed to find and damage the cable," Georgian Railway Telecom spokesman Giorgi Ionatamishvili told the AFP. "It has robust protection and such incidents are extremely rare."
