Earth Day Slogans

Earth Day Slogans
A fifth grader from Henley, Mo., penned the winning Missouri Department of Natural Resources Earth Day slogan.
Adeline Forester’s suggestion – “Little Changes, Big Results” – was chosen from hundreds submitted by fifth graders across the state.
"Adeline's message reminds everyone it is the little things we do everyday that makes a difference to protect Missouri’s resources," said Sara Parker Pauley, director of the Department of Natural Resources. "Little changes can give the big results that improve our environment and our communities."
The DNR hosts a free Earth Day event in Jefferson City every year. There will be entertainment, and students who attend can compete in games of “Environmental Survivor,” which tests their conservation knowledge.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the south lawn of the capitol. Learn more about Earth Day at http://www.dnr.mo.gov/earthday.
