Dum Maro Dum Review

Dum Maro Dum
Dum Maro Dum has been making headlines for quite some time for the various reasons. The critics have reviewed the film to be good but according to them it could have been better. They felt that the film had lot of style but somewhere lacked in substance. The defects of the first half of the film, however, were rectified by the second half of the movie with racy dialogues and a tight screenplay.

The plot of Dum Maro Dum concentrates on action and shows the crimes by which the entire world is infected.  However this film shows that Goa is filled with politicians and gangsters who deal in drugs and all kind of crimes. Abhishek Bachchan plays ACP Vishnu Kamath who is assigned the task of taking hold of the corruption in the place. A drug racketeer played by Aditya Pancholi gets hold of younger generation and makes them sell drugs. Falling for the same ploy Pratiek Bababbar plays the role of the hapless youngster to the hilt and in the meantime Rana Duggubati, who makes a Bollywood debut with this film, takes him out of the mess.
According to the reviews of Dum Maro Dum Abhishek Bachchan did play the part of the serious Inspector well but he could have toned up his body a bit to look the part. Deepika Padukone leaves a mark even with just a item number although the song could have been better choreographed. Prateik Babbar takes the cake once again with his perfect acting skills and is bound to leave everyone in awe. Even Bipasha Basu and Rana Duggubati was okay.

As already said the first half of the movie was slower in camparison to the second half of the movie which is racier and takes the story to its deserved climax. There is quite a few surprises for the audience and the people who loves action thriller movie should certainly take a ticket for Dum Maro Dum this weekend.
