It was the best of times, it was the worst of times at the Academy of Country Music Awards Sunday night ... and that was just on Carrie Underwood. The country music sweetheart wore a gorgeous backless purple Jean Fares gown on the red carpet, but went in the opposite direction for her duet with Steven Tyler, donning (per People.com) a none-too-flattering minidress with a bolero by WTB, the clothing line designed in part by Richie Sambora(WTB stands for White Trash Beautiful).
Miranda Lambert's puppies threatened to bark in her revealing white gown cinched with a wide Bedazzled belt (perhaps a bit too wide for the short-waisted Lambert). Nicole Kidman wore a snakeskin-patterned leather dress that would have worked without the fur ruff. Hillary Scott of Lady Antebellum wore what appeared to be a black satin body cast -- that's how bulky and stiff her dress looked. AndBrooklyn Decker wore ... shapewear? How else to explain that unadorned, form-fitting mauve look?
