Just 21 and already a legend of music: Taylor Swift has dominated the American Music Awards ceremony. The country singer was on Sunday night in Los Angeles, three of the coveted music awards. Including the top prize in the "Artist of the Year".
In this category actually Adele had been touted as the favorite. The British soul singer, and even only 23 years old, had the most nominations: four. Finally, there was only enough for two awards.
Swift from her triumph seemed to be surprised and found the whole situation just "crazy." She thanked "my friends, my family, God - oh, just all whom I owe so much." At the price they had competed alongside Adele with Katy Perry, Lil Wayne and Lady Gaga.
No price for Bieber and Gaga
Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga did this time, totally uncharacteristic of this year, without a price. Katy Perry also won in any of the categories, but got a special prize: the 27-year-old received an award from Heidi Klum's hands, because they had released as the first woman of only five singles and an album made number one hits. This has been done to her just one man: Michael Jackson.

The AMAs have but one very important because the winner not from the music industry, but by sales numbers, and Internet voting are determined.
