Wide receiver Terrell Owens a free agent and went there a desperate effort to attract the interest of a NFL team, on Tuesday, but he seems to have failed.

Owens, who is without a contract since his stay with the Cincinnati Bengals last season, held a public workout in California, during which he was demonstrating its form and splendor of his prowess.However, no recruiter for a NFL team was on hand to make the assessment.

According to the daily "Today United States," the Tennessee Titans have expressed an interest in the athlete 38 years, but there is no evidence they are about to submit an offer.

"All I need is a team to be interested. I only need one chance, "he told NFL Network, as a result of his training.

The question posed to experts, in the case of Owens, his left knee if it is sufficiently recovered from arthroscopic surgery he underwent in April.

Last season, he was an important cog in the Bengals. He participated in 14 games, making 72 receptions and getting gains 982 yards and nine touchdowns. His name was placed on the disabled list for the first time in his career on December 21 and the Bengals have decided not to submit a new offer.

Owens got the green light from doctors to race again on 19 October.
