U.S. rapper Rick Ross suffers fainting in flight to Memphis
U.S. rapper Rick Ross passed out today in a plane to Memphis (Tennessee, USA) andthe aircraft had an emergency return to an airport in Florida, where paramedics took him to a hospital, local media said.
Ross was on a Delta Airlines flight that took off from Fort Lauderdale International Airport, north of Miami, when he had a medical emergency and so far has not released the causeof fainting.
The Miami rapper was treated at Broward General Medical Center at noon and left themedical center in the afternoon.
"Memphis, here I come," said the artist in his Twitter account, who in December releasedhis album "Forgiven God, I Do."
Artists friends Ross also reported that social network in the rapper was "100 percentright."
Ross, 34, whose real name is William Leonard Roberts II, was scheduled to give a concerttonight at the University of Memphis.
