Never one to shy away from a spot of colour, rap artist and singer Nicki Minaj puts on a vibrant visual performance in her new video for Super Bass.
The 26-year-old star sports her usual pink hair and an array of daring and colourful outfits for the newly released track which is the fifth song of her platinum selling album Pink Friday.
During the three and a half minute video for the up-tempo track we see Nicki pursuing a handsome potential mate who gradually appears to lose his clothing.
She starts by showing off her petite curves in a simple white tank and jeans shorts combo dancing alongside five other women dressed exactly like her with matching wavy pink wigs.
The group of girls gyrates to the beat in a traditional dance hall style.
The Trinidadian beauty then then snags a tall handsome stranger who she dances against before mentally undressing him.
The pair end up playing in a swimming pool surrounded by semi naked men who watch as she throws a bright pink cocktail over the muscle bound tattooed hunk.
Nicki, who is regularly compared to a living Barbie doll, then showed of her famous curves in a hot pink animal print cat suit and lime green heels as she rode an ice sculpture moulded into the shape of a motorcycle.
The final scene of the video was shot completely in ultra violet light with the women in white leotards wearing glow in the dark make up.
The pint-sized rapper broke into the music business four years ago, with an attention grabbing mix tape.
'I always wanted to play with the boys,' says the Trinidad-born rapper, who moved to the US when she was five years old.
'I didn’t want to be a pawn in their game or have a sidekick role. I wanted to be more of a lead character—a superhero,' she added.
Nicki also hopes to inspire others saying she is 'fighting for the girls who never thought they could win.'
