Rakesh Singh, additional secretary, department of financial services in the ministry of finance is said to have been given the additional charge of chairman, Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) of IndiTS Vijayan, LIC chairman, whose five year term gets over this month, is expected to be appointed as managing director of LIC as he still has two years of service left.
According to reports, TS Vijayan whose term is due to expire will not get an extension for the post of Chairman, LIC.
