British pop star Ellie Goulding was humbled by her opportunity to perform at Prince Charles's evening reception at Buckingham Palace following the Royal Wedding.
"It was an amazing honor to be asked by Kate and William to perform at their party," Goulding, who also performed Saturday on a Tina Fey-hosted Saturday Night Live, told the BBC recently. "The atmosphere was incredible, and it is a night I will never forget."
Goulding, 24, serenaded Prince William, his wife, Duchess Catherine, and a slew of other top-tier guests with her version of "Your Song," originally written by Sir Elton John, a close friend of the late Princess Diana.
