Drop Dead Diva

Good things come to those who wait and seeing how fans of Lifetime's hit series Drop Dead Diva have been waiting all year for the series to return, I'd say we're in for a fun-filled summer!
Lifetime has announced that season three of Drop Dead Diva is now set to premiere on June 19 (and not a moment too soon after that heart-wrenching cliffhanger). From the moment it first premiered, the quirky dramedy was an instant hit and the fan base grew even larger as Jane finally accepted her fate and began moving forward with her life over the course of season two.
From Paula Abdul to Rosie O'Donnell, the series has had an impressive slate of guest stars in the first two seasons, and fans will be delighted to know that the upcoming season will bring many more popular faces to the canvas.
When we last saw Jane, she had decided to tell Grayson the truth about who she is, but when he asks Jane to be his "best man," she runs away. Grayson follows, but is hit by a car and as Jane rushes to his side, he looks right at her and the last word he utters is "Deb."
In the season premiere, country singer LeAnn Rimes appears as the soon-to-be ex-wife of a big celebrity (played by Nick Zano) who is on trial for a hit-and-run accident. Mario Lopez appears in the episode as himself, reporting on the trial. Talk show host Wendy Williams also puts in an appearance and Paula Abdul returns as Jane's (very entertaining) voice of reason.
Also guest starring this season are Kathy Griffin, Quinton Aaron, Romy Rosemont, Wanda Sykes, Clay Aiken, Lance Bass, Amanda Bearse, Tony Goldwyn, Howard Hesseman, Sharon Lawrence, Faith Prince, Jennifer Tilly, and Louis Van Amstel.
