Workers' Party (WP) has won Aljunied GRC with 72,165 votes, out of a total of 133,685 votes. It obtained 54.71 per cent of the votes. 1,788 votes were spoilt.
The WP team in Aljunied GRC comprises Low Thia Khiang, Sylvia Lim, Muhd Faisal Abdul Manap, Chen Show Mao, and Pritam Singh.
The other party contesting Aljunied GRC was People's Action Party (PAP), which fielded George Yeo, Lim Hwee Hua, Zainul Abidin Rasheed, Cynthia Phua and Ong Ye Kung. The PAP garnered 45.29 per cent of the votes.
In a speech after the results were announced, George Yeo congratulated the WP team and wished them every success. He also expressed his thanks to the residents of Aljunied "who have allowed us to serve them all these years".
