Adrianne Curry

According to “Zap 2 It,” the inaugural winner of “America’s Next Top Model,” Adrianne Curry, will take once more to the television in a series called “Celebrity Sex Tales” appearing on the Playboy Channel. In the meantime while Adrianne was promoting the show on the Howard Stern Show this morning, things quickly switched gears as Stern made the interview more about “behind the scenes” and under the sheets which listeners were more concerned with. It seems she has been tweeting pictures of herself, well quite frankly all of herself, in a frantic search for attention. Is she not going to get enough attention with the “Sex Tales” audience as she plasters her relationship with husband, Christopher Knight (Peter Brady) across the screen? Maybe not, but popularity may come at a shocking price when her relationship with an ex-boyfriend from her hometown becomes news in one of the episodes since the former flame is unaware of the inclusion in her expose as announced in the article by Sophie Schillaci.
It’s really sad to see such a beautiful face being manipulated and warped into such a desperate desire for attention as to allow the privacies of one’s married life to be exposed to the public sector (even if it paid for by subscription to the Playboy Channel)! Does this make it less sleazy? The Howard Stern Show may have been more about what is happening between the sheets with husband Christopher Knight (who is apparently not providing enough action for Adrianne), but it was Perez Hilton who got her to comment on her own experience with bi-sexuality in a five minute video posted on YouTube for the “It Will Get Better” project!
The video was an absolute joke. I listened through the entire video which seemed more like just another pitch for attention than a truly heart-to-heart commentary about the issues faced by teenagers trying to understand and deal with public stigmatization of being homosexual. It was amazing how many “F” bombs were dropped by this idiot who is trying to appeal to kids on a level which would be considered worthy of role modeling. I am completely behind this project and what it represents for youth struggling with identity problems and looking for role models who have dealt with similar situations who have come out ahead of the game giving positive support to face and accept who you are. Adrianne Curry, however, is not one of those faces for positive role model emulation! Let’s hope this train-wreck is not what was behind the intentions of Tyra Banks when she decided to create “America’s Next Top Model.” I would hate to see the newest candidates competing follow a similar path to destruction!
