Online Citizen

Delaware Gov
Delaware Gov. Jack Markell, Safety and Homeland Security Secretary Lewis Schiliro and Chief Information Officer Jim Sills will join with Delaware first responders and emergency management officials today to launch an online emergency registry that will help citizens with special needs prepare for an emergency before it happens.
The Emergency Preparedness Volunteer Registry will be linked to a secure database that ties into the State’s 9-1-1 system. With the registry, 9-1-1 dispatchers will now be able to provide first responders with specific details about a citizen’s special needs before they arrive on the scene.
