These days, I hear tell the stupid dance everyone is bonkers over is something called the "Dougie." As you may have guessed, this is a dance I've never done. I am told there's no shame in that.
Instead of doing the Dougie for myself, I prefer to leave it to the experts (presumably some guy named Dougie). As far as the NBA is concerned, Washington Wizards rookie point guard John Wall is probably as well known for his pregame Dougie as he is for the things he does on the court. For good or ill, it's part of his aura.
Unfortunately for Wall, it would appear that he is not the only person that feels the urge to break out the Dougie when at an NBA arena. Sports Illustratedmodel Kate Upton was caught on camera doing the Dougie at the Staples Center, where she was attending Saturday's game between the Los Angeles Clippers and Oklahoma City Thunder. Clearly, this is some sort of challenge to Wall's Dougie supremacy.
Personally, I'm not so sure that Upton can match Wall's technique, and she's certainly not as focused as Wall is when he does the Dougie. I nevertheless thinks she still looks pretty good, but that might have something to do with the fact that she is a supermodel.
One way or another, she better be careful. John Wall isn't one to take being shown up lightly. Just ask Zydrunas Ilgauskus.
