Yesterday the Gears of War 3 beta preview kicked off for those who purchased Bulletstorm: Epic Edition or were fortunate enough to win a free beta code in a giveaway. Most of you likely won't have access to the beta until the full roll out on April 25, but that doesn't mean you'll be in the dark between now and then.
To coincide with the Gears of War 3 beta launch, Microsoft and Epic games have released a pair of quick one-minute videos. The first is an unedited gameplay trailer that you won't want to fire up in the office. It's very NSFW as characters boast kills and curse imminent death with choice four-letter words. You don't need foul-mouthed teenagers to bring the vulgar to multiplayer matches; Gears of War 3 has it built right in.
The second video is also gameplay footage, but this time executive producer Rod Ferguson adds some commentary to talk about the gameplay tactics and combat features the beta holds.
Gears of War 3 in Standard, Limited and Epic editions hits stores on September 20 exclusively on Xbox 360.
