Health Evolution Partners, a manager of healthcare investment funds, announced today that Bradley M. Fluegel has joined the firm as Executive in Residence. Mr. Fluegel is a seasoned executive with deep experience in strategy, product planning, operations, corporate development and public affairs. He will work with HEP’s Growth Fund and Spectrum Fund to identify promising new investment opportunities and to help portfolio companies become market leaders.

Mr. Fluegel recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy and External Affairs Officer at WellPoint Inc. Prior to WellPoint, Mr. Fluegel was Senior Vice President of National Accounts and Vice President of Enterprise Strategy at Aetna Inc. Prior to Aetna, Mr. Fluegel served as Chief Executive Officer of Reden & Anders (now Ingenix Consulting). Prior to joining Ingenix, he served as a Principal and Health Sector Leader at Tillinghast. Before joining Tillinghast, Mr. Fluegel served as a Senior Strategic Planner and Director of Product Development and Implementation at Harvard Community Health Plan.
Mr. Fluegel earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Washington, with a major in Business Administration, and a Master's in Public Policy with a concentration in Health Care Policy and Management from Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government. He currently serves as a Lecturer in the Health Care Management MBA program at The Wharton School of Business in Philadelphia.
