Just days after the singer after she celebrated Rihanna's birthday with the Bajan beauty in L.A. she has headed to the desert to continue the party.
Soaking up the sunshine at Coachella music festival Katy Perry opted for a floor-length lace dress, covering up from the sun's strong rays.
The singer stepped out in the tiered cream dress and accessorised with a long string or pearls, and a cute polka dot scarf tied around her brunette locks – a look which evoked the 1920’s era.
Katy held onto the arm of one of her friends who was dressed in cut off black shorts and a denim skirt.
The night before Katy had been spotted dancing in the crowd in a red and white gingham dress and retro white sunnies.
The I Kissed A Girl singer has recently finished off her California Dreams tour and has been partying at the three day festival held at the Empire polo club in Indio.
But while she opted to cover up yesterday, for other famous faces tiny denim shorts appeared to be on the dress code for the event and Rihanna was seen showing off her curves in a pair of small light denim ones.
Twilight star Ashley Greene opted for super-short dark denim while Kate Bosworth opted for a small pair of bright white and came over all patriotic with a stars and stripes T-shirt.
Other stars were rocking out in 1960’s and 1970’s styles which saw hemlines soar upwards.
Victoria Secret’s supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio was seen in a cute embroided dress while Fashionista Whitney Port opted for a crocheted tiered cream dress.
Vanessa Hudgens wore a hippy-inspired crocheted black skirt which revealed her colourful bikini bottoms and a cropped green vest.
Nicole Ritchie stepped out in a billowing printed shirt in keeping with the 1970’s trends but showed off her slim pins in the short ensemble.
David Hasselhoff was spotted showing off his new Welsh girlfriend, while Diane Kruger was spotted cosying up to her beau Joshua Jackson.
While Usher was seen taking in the festivities with a female friend Leonardo DiCaprio was spotted not enjoying the festivities but holding a conversation on his mobile.
