United Parcel Service

United Parcel Service
One of the global leaders in the delivery of consignments, parcels and letters, UPS, is ready to provide enhanced services for Slovak car producers. United Parcel Service (UPS) has added UPS Express Freight to its offerings in Slovakia, the eTREND web portal reported.

“Israel and Slovakia are increasingly important players in the sphere of global trade,” UPS said in a statement. It sees potential in Israel mainly in the high-tech and industrial sectors and noted that Slovakia has developed into a key regional centre for car and industrial production with several large carmakers. UPS said these branches need services clearly defined in terms of time.
UPS Express Freight is a part of a wider portfolio of UPS services such as air cargo transport within the UPS Express Critical service for time-critical deliveries as well as all types of transport and other services with added value.

UPS is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia and has been operating in Slovakia since 1992 through Slovak Parcel Service, the web portal wrote. It has 600 employees in Slovakia, 250 delivery vehicles, 8 regional offices and 18 service centres. Its main logistic centre is at the Bratislava Airport.
