Susan B. Anthony, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Eleanor Roosevelt, Lucille Ball, and Col. Eileen M. Collins are only a few of the women associated with New York State who have been inducted into the National Women’s Hall of Fame in Seneca Falls.

Christine Moulton, Executive Director of the National Women’s Hall of Fame, will speak about “Getting to Know Great Women of New York” on Wednesday, March 30, at 6:30 p.m. in the community room at the Macedon Public Library, 30 Main St.

The presentation in honor of Women’s History Month will focus on honorees from New York State, and on the 2011 inductees into the NWHF. Since it was founded in1969 in the birthplace of the American Women’s Rights Movement, 236 women have been inducted into the Hall of Fame.

This presentation is sponsored by the Friends of the Macedon Public Library and is open to the public at no charge.
