As Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth, a talent agent, made it official at theirrustic-style wedding at the actress’ Ojai, Calif., estate Saturday night, so did, to a lesser extent, Sean Penn andScarlett Johansson. Johansson, one of Toth’s clients, was invited to the wedding and showed up with Penn, with whom she’s been spending a lot of time recently.
“Turning up at a wedding with your boyfriend is definitely a huge statement, especially that wedding,” a Johansson source tells Popeater.com. “What it’s doing is announcing to the whole of Hollywood that they are serious.” Penn split from wife Robin Wright in 2009 after a couple of false starts, while Johansson split from husband Ryan Reynolds in December. Penn is almost twice Johansson's age.
Also in attendance at the wedding: Renée Zellweger, Tobey Maguire and wife Jennifer Meyer,Matthew McConaughey and girlfriend Camila Alves, Robert Downey Jr., Sacha Baron Cohenand wife Isla Fisher, and Alyssa Milano and husband David Bugliari, a colleague of Toth’s.
