Joining Oscar-winner Kate, 35, at the unveiling of the TV mini series were her co-stars Guy Pearce and 23-year-old Rachel Evan Wood, stunning in a plum dress.
In the five-part drama, set in the Great Depression, Kate stars in the titular role as Mildred, who finds herself separated from her husband and goes on to open a restaurant and find love with another man.
But at the same time, the new business puts a big strain on her already fragile relationship with her daughter Vida, played by Rachel.
