Kazakhstan vs Germany

Kazakhstan vs Germany
Germany's Mario Gomez has spoken of his confidence ahead of their Euro 2012 qualifier against minnows Kazakhstan.
Germany are currently leading Group A having won all four of their games, while Kazakhstan in contrast are pointless and goalless in the standings, having lost all their games and conceding ten goals already.
Joachim Low's men will be extremely confident of a win on Saturday night against a side currently ranked 137th in the world, and will be looking to add some cheer with a big victory.
Bayern Munich striker Mario Gomez was one of the positive few, announcing his belief that Kazakhstan will pose no problems for Germany.
"With all due respect to Kazakhstan, this match really shouldn't be too much of a problem for us," said Gomez on the German Football Association's official website.
"We want to secure qualification for Euro 2012 as soon as possible and we really can't afford to stumble against Kazakhstan."
The Germans currently lead Belgium and Austria by five points, and with a significantly healthier goal difference, victory against Kazakhstan would solidify their qualifying prospects for the 2012 finals in Poland and Ukraine.
While German teams in the past have often been tactically impeccable but lacking in flair and style, the current side has severly bucked the trend, putting in a series of captivating performances with youngsters like Mesut Ozil and Thomas Muller coming to the fore.
However, Gomez reveals that he is willing to sacrifice style to achieve results with the national team.
"We don't just want to please the crowd when we play at a big tournament. We want to win trophies and provide entertainment."
Following their third-place finish at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, Gomez also believes his side should enter such tournaments aiming for win, and nothing less.
"National team coach Joachim Low didn't sign a contract extension just to participate in big tournaments."
"He has the ambition to win titles and we can do just that with this Germany team."
With many deeming Saturday's game as an easy fixture, it will be interesting to see if Low decides to blood a few of his youngsters who have been extremely impressive with their club sides this season.
Notably, with Borussia Dortmund's standout season in the German Bundesliga thus far, Mats Hummels, Sven Bender and Mario Goetze will all be pressing their claims for a chance on the international stage.
