Howard Stern

Howard Stern
Howard Stern has issued a lawsuit against Sirius XM radio for unpaid stock options that were built into his contract.
Stern and his lawyer have filed a lawsuit against Sirius XM radio, claiming that they offered him a series of stock awards in 2004 if they reached a certain amount of subscribers each year. They accomplished this task every year, but apparently have not paid their shock jock.
It seems a bit weird that Stern has filed this lawsuit so soon after resigning with the radio company. After months of on-air complaining about leaving, he recently signed a new deal with Sirius XM, but it seems that all he wants is what he was promised.
Sirius XM was surprised and disappointed after receiving Stern’s legal actions, reports CBS News.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Sirius XM stock has dropped since the legal action taken by Stern. The price target of the company has moved from $2 to $1.65 and switching from “buy” to “hold.”
Let’s hope that these two can settle their differences because Stern has many loyal followers and there is no telling what he is capable of doing with that kind of fan base.
