Bigfoot is alive and well, and living in North Carolina, according to a man who claims his photos and videos prove the existence of the creature.
According to his personal Web page , Thomas Byers said he saw Bigfoot on March 22 on Golden Valley Church Road in Rutherford County.
Byers wrote that bigfoot was as little as 15 feet away as it crossed the road.
Byers provided additional details, including the fact that bigfoot is between 6 and 7 feet tall.
Bigfoot smells like a cross between road kill and a skunk, according to Byers, a scent he described as "horrid."
"As I filmed it crossing the road it turned its head towards me and snarled or growled at me as it ran across the road," Byers wrote. "It was truly one of the most amazing sites I have ever seen."
Byers also provides a map on the sighting.
