With the finale of Big Love this past Sunday, it’s likely that buzz on the final events of the series will circulate for some time. The HBO show ran for five seasons and depicted the polygamous life of Bill Paxton’s character and his three wives.
Ok! Magazine sums up the major events of the finale, so if you’re planning on watching it, I’d suggest that you stop reading.
The main character, Bill Hendrickson, dies, which is a major event to close the series with a shock. Other characters, including his wives, get some closure as they must continue life without him.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the reviews for this episode were mixed, and the general consensus was the people either loved it or hated it.
Regardless, the actors of the show now must move on to other roles. Chloe Sevigny, Bill Paxton, and Ginnifer Goodwin already have upcoming films to be released this year.
Sevigny will act in The Wait, which should be released this year. Goodwin will play the title role in the big screen adaptation of Something Borrowed, which is set to be released in May. Paxton’s next film, Haywire, is scheduled for a summer release.
