Big Brothers Big Sisters of Midcoast Maine recently received a $500 grant from the York Children’s Foundation to support its youth mentoring programs in Knox, Lincoln, Penobscot and Waldo counties. The grant was made through the Hall Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 949 Main St., Waldoboro and York-Matthews Children’s Foundation.
Alex Gaeth, executive director, said in a news release, “The continued support of Hall Funeral Home and the York Children’s Foundation enables us to grow and help local kids grow through the power of mentoring. We appreciate their investment in our community.”
