Apple Store

Apple Store
iPad 2 stock seems to be building up and more stores in the US have higher inventory levels and the online Apple Store has just improved its shipping wait from 4-5 weeks to 2-3 weeks.
Despite the international release of the iPad 2 yesterday which had consumers fear the iPad 2 shortage situation in the US would worsen, BGR has "confirmed with various Apple Store and third-party retailer locations that new shipments have begun to arrive over the past few days." The blog states that all the WiFi iPad 2 models are easier to acquire than any of the built-in 3G units.
On a side note, Verizon seems to be quickly clearing the inventory of the "old" iPad, currently offering the 16GB iPad WiFi-only model bundled with its MiFi for only $299. That ultra low price tag is without contract as well but these bargain basement prices will no doubt have the first generation iPad sell out pretty quick.
