Euro likes what Schaeuble has to say

The German finance minister said that he is confident a solution to Greece's woes will be found, while the Spanish bank recapitalization program is on a "good path." Fairly vague comments, but this is a thinly traded holiday market that is full of good cheer and happy to run with the slightest hints of optimism, while ignoring the fact that EU budget talks just hit a dead end. Euro at $1.2958. up 0.6%, according to EBS via CQG.
