Solar Eclipse

Solar Eclipse
The gates of the temple were kept closed on Wednesday on the occasion of the upcoming total lunar eclipse. The countdown began at 2:53pm as the temple gates were closed. Devotees lined up while offering their prayers to the deities. The priests delivered religious guidelines to the expecting mothers whereas some devotees also decided to observe a fast.
But many people expressed their desire to witness the solar eclipse and know it's mysteries as the eclipse is poised to start from 11:53pm and end by 3:33am. The temple administration has decided to purify the temple complex with holy water on Thursday morning. The devotees will be allowed inside the temple after new clothes are offered to the deities on Thursday.
