State Controller John Chiang in partnership with Office of Assembly Majority Leader Charles Calderon, Office of Congressmember Grace Napolitano, Office of Senator Ron Calderon and the city of Pico Rivera are sponsoring the workshop.
This workshop is offered through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program for taxpayers with annual incomes of $49,000 or less.
Taxpayers need to take a valid photo ID; social security card of Individual Taxpayer Identification Number; all W-2's and 1099's (if any); copy of prior-year tax return; bank account and routing number for direct deposit of refund or direct debit of balance due; other income/experise information, total tuition fees and expenses; total expenses paid for child/day care; day care providers identification number and landlord's name, address and phone number for the California Renter's Credit.
An appointment is required.
