As thousands of his devotees in India and abroadcontinued to pray for his speedy recovery, the health condition of spiritual leader Satya Sri Sai Baba showed some signs of improvement today, doctors said.
An update from the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences at Puttaparthy, Andhra Padesh, said Sai Baba, who is admitted to the hospital, continued to be in the same condition as yesterday.
"However, his level of consciousness has considerably improved. His vital systems are in stable condition. He still continues to be on assisted ventilation through ventilator and CRRT, which is a slow dialysis process, continues to assist his kidneys," the bulletin added.
The 85-year-old Sai Baba was admitted to Satya Sai Super Speciality Hospital at Puttaparthy on March 28, following pneumonia and respiratory problems.
