The 2011 Masters Tournament up and ready, with defending champ Phil Mickelson favored to win his second-straight green jacket by 6/1 odds. Tiger Woods is close behind at 10/1, with world No. 2 Lee Westwood sitting at 14/1.
The rest of the top 10 is rounded out by Nick Watney (16/1); world No. 1 Martin Kaymer and Dustin Johnson (20/1); Luke Donald, Paul Casey, and Rory McIlroy (25/1); and Padraig Harrington, Hunter Mahan, and former Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets golfer Matt Kuchar (28/1). That's actually a top 12 if you're counting.
Former Georgia Bulldogs star Bubba Watson checks in close behind at 33/1 odds to win the tournament. Georgia Tech's Stewart Cink is a 100/1 longshot.
Mickelson's odds are much too small for practical wagering -- they'll certainly lure in plenty of oh-he-won-it-last-year bets. But the thing is, Mickelson looked very good in rallying to win last week's Shell Houston Open, his first win since the 2010 Masters. Think he can get a streak going both in this season and at this course?
